Boothbay Harbor is
located 50 minutes north of Portland off Route 1. From Portland travel
north on Interstate 295 and continue on to Interstate 95 north to exit
22 (Brunswick). Follow Route 1 north, you will travel through the town
of Bath. Stay on Route one still heading north to Wiscasset and
continue through the town and over the bridge toward Damariscotta for
about three miles then go right on to Route 27 South. (Big sign,
Boothbay Harbor Region). Travel 11 miles. When you reach the light at
the Hannaford Supermarket on the right, the Meadows Mall on the left,
continue to the fork in the road where it turns into a one-way street.
Your first left after the road turns into a one way street is
UNION street on your left, go left. Continue past the sharp right hand
turn, past various restaurants and marina's, until you see a 30 foot
high fisherman in a yellow raincoat. 50 feet past the statue is the
entrance to Carousel Marina. I will meet you near the office, or the
Harvest Moon might be at the fuel dock.
